Definitions and mathematical statement

Shared notation.
$\mathbb N=\{1,2,\ldots\}$, and $\mathbb Z,\mathbb Q,\mathbb R,\mathbb C$ denote the integers, rationals, reals and complex numbers. Any other conventions are specified locally.

Define $G_n$ by replacing every edge of a source--sink edge recursively $n$ times by a single edge from the source endpoint to an intermediate junction followed by two parallel edges from that junction to the sink endpoint. For diffusion limited aggregation, disregard the orientations and start the aggregate with the source. Release particles one at a time at the sink. Each performs simple random walk until it first visits a vertex adjacent to the current aggregate, where it settles and is added to the aggregate. Stop when a particle settles at the sink. Let $P_n$ be the number of particles released up to and including that final particle.

Statement recorded in the supplied source.
Determine the limit $\lim_{n\to\infty}n^{-1}\log\mathbb E P_n$, including proving that this limit exists. [S2]
